What is BizHub?
BizHub – located on Level 2 within the Centre for Regional Knowledge & Innovation – is a one-stop shop for business. BizHub offers a variety of opportunities to businesses of all sizes, from professional support and training, to a facilitated co-working environment, networking opportunities, and presentation and meeting room spaces.
BizHub is an initiative of Maroondah City Council’s Business & Development team. It delivers business support services, mentoring and business growth solutions to support the development and expansion of workforces and businesses located in Melbourne’s East.
One of the key features of BizHub is the co-working space.
Recent data suggests the use of co-working spaces continues to grow in popularity across the globe – since 2012 there has been an 87 per cent increase in the number of co-working spaces worldwide (Savills, 2013).
BizHub’s co-working space will accommodate up to 50 people a day, and will provide members with a huge variety of benefits, from access to invaluable networking opportunities and discounted learning events, to high speed internet and bookable meeting spaces.
